ELF HD Blush Review & Swatches

Hey Girls & Gents!

So I final gotten around to Reviewing and Swatching the highly talk about E.L.F (eyeslipsface.com) HD Blush.

I wanted to really use and play with this product for a while before writing about, and now that I have, I can really tell y’all how I feel about it.

Before I start, this is what the site says about it: “Rich and creamy HD Blush naturally sculpts and highlights the cheekbones for a soft-focus effect that is great for everyday use. The Vitamin E enriched formula conditions and hydrates the skin for a healthy, radiant glow. Velvety soft, lightweight and highly pigmented color creates a long-lasting result for all day wear

 Things I like about it
·         It’s highly pigmented which I love (but I have heard a lot of people didn’t really like that, but like most things, you just have to apply it right)
·         The shades are wonderful for darker skin tones (like myself!)
·         It can be blended out for a more natural look, or applied a little bit heavier  for a more daring look (just don’t overdo it!)
·         Last over 5 hours for me
·         $3 for .35fl oz or 10ml (your getting your money worth, since you only need a little bit of product)  and ELF always has codes going on (I paid $1.50 each for mine)
·         The packing is very sleek, and reminds me of Make Up For Ever HD Blushes which cost a lot more
·         it really is lightweight
·         it can also be used as a lip-stain (which is great, two in one…Winning)

Things I don’t like about it
·         You have to shake the bottle before each used (no real biggie though)
·         If you’re not careful when pumping, you’re going to get WAY more then you need or want
·         Needs more shades (can’t wait!)
·         Dries fast (got to work fast when using it)

Note:
I like pumping a small dot onto my stainless steel palette (can use an old CD that’s cleaned or back of hand) than using a stippling brush to better control the amount of product I pick up.  FYI spray a small amount of Fix + if it starts to dry up on you.

Overall: 5/5 (I think everyone should try them)
Headliner (Great For Nude Lips)

Super Star (Nice Nude Lip Color)
Diva (Barbie Pink Lips Anyone?)
Encore (Great Fall Lip Color)
