DIY Studded Clutch

Hey Girls and Gents!

So today I’m going to teach y’all how to make a Studded Clutch, for less than five dollars ($5). Yup you read right, under five bucks, that’s cray cray right, oh and by the way… your welcome lol

Anyway anyone can do this because it’s super easy, and takes like ten minutes to make, really though the longest, and hardest part in making this bag is figuring out where you want to place your studs, I joke you not you guys, it’s that easy.

Okay before you get started, you’re going to need a few things, and I’m sure you have most of these things in your house already, so let get this party started

The Money, is an inside joke lol

Things you’re going to need:

·         An old Clutch or Makeup bag (I used an old makeup bag, that I used like once, or you can just pick one up at your local thrift shop, mine carries clutches for like three bucks($3)
·         Studs (Hobby Lobby has them for $1.45 for pack of 30)
·         Pen
·         Ruler
·         Exacto Knife or Just a Sharp Knife from the Kitchen
·         Cardboard

Studs
Exacto Knife

Okay lets get started!

Step One: Lay your bag down on a flat, than arrange the Studs until you find a design you like.
Step Two: Take your ruler, and using your Pen mark where the Studs are. (I ended up just making lines, so using the ruler was a most.)
Step Three: Pressing the stud into the bag (using your fingers) will leave print lines, for when you’re ready to start cutting the slits.
Step Fours: When cutting the slits, open the bag, and place pieces of cardboard in-between the, so the knife doesn't cut into the other side.
Step Five: Slid the Studs end into the slits you've just made and, press down with your fingers.
