Black Radiance Liquid Foundation Review

Now I've seen this brand pretty much every time I go to the drugstore, Walmart, or target, but only about a week ago, (lol  about a week ago) I've really stopped to take a closer look at them, and give their products ago.

now I wasn't too interested in their eyeshadows as it looks pretty much the same as wet n’ wild’s, and to tell you truth I really wanted to try one of their foundations, because as I’m sure you know that if you’re on the darker side of the skin range, it’s sometimes a pain finding a good foundation that matches perfectly, it’s always something… it’s either to red, or ashy blah blah you know what I’m talking about.

Now on to the review!

The Price is $3.87 before tax at Walmart for 1.0 fl oz (30mL) of product; which is cheap, so giving it a try was a no-brainier, but I've always notice after checking their site it’s cost $4.99, which still isn't a lot, but it’s still more then at Walmart.

The shade I bought was in Rum Spice, which is more of my summer skin tone, which I’m trying to hold on to as long as possible, but one thing I noticed right away is that they don’t have a wide range of shades to pick from, which always sucks.

FYI I've been using this foundation for about a week now, to test it out, and how it wears day to day, so I feel I can really give an honest review on it.

What their website/bottle says about their product: Formulated for ethnic skin tones. This full coverage formula enhances natural skin tone, never red, ashy or shiny. The foundation glides on smoothly and evenly, leaving skin looking fresh for a natural finish.

Things I like:
·         The foundation is  pretty lightweight
·         The coverage is  around medium without any buildup
·         It could pass as your natural skin tone, if in the right lighting
·         It’s Oil free
·         it has an attached spatula, which I like to apply to the back of my hand then work for, for sanitary reasons
·         The package is a square glass jar with a matte black top, which looks very nice
·         The price is great
·         It’s easy to apply, and goes on smoothly, and blend pretty darn good
·         It doesn't had any noticeable scent

Things I didn't like:
·         Would have liked a pump, but it does have spatula attached, but for the price it’s not a big deal
·         Doesn't have a lot of shades to pick from, they only have 6 shades
·         I noticed on some days, it seemed to smudged off, when I didn't use a primer, setting powder, and a setting spray,  but it stayed pretty good when I did
·         You have to set it, to keep it from smudging off, which is not that big of a deal for me, as I do that with all my foundations as I have oily skin, but it could be a deal breaker for someone who doesn't want deal with that extra steps

Overall Rating:  4/5

Question: have you tried the Black Radiance line, and if so; what’s your favorite item from them?
