Sugarpill Cosmetics Edward Scissorhands 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Palette Review & Swatches

If you’ve been reading my blog for any amount of time, you know how I adore Sugarpill Cosmetics, and if you know me you know I love pretty much anything Tim Burton/ gothic, so when I heard they had a palette coming out you know I was all up in that, and ready to spend some monnney lol I even had a post-it on my desktop to remind me to order as soon as possible, not like I was going to forget anyway but better safe than sorry.

So I ordered Sugarpill Cosmetics Edward Scissorhands 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Palette, as soon as it was available on their site (midnight). I didn’t want to miss this, and I knew that they were going to sell out fast, and I knew if I didn’t get it I would cry like a baby, and trust me its not a pretty look lol but thank God I got one!

Anyway, I’ve been playing with this beauty for a few days now, and all I can say is that I’m loving it, and not to mention, this is sugarpill first go at neutral pressed eyeshadows in this palette, and they did great, can’t wait for more!
Left to Right, (NO FLASH or PRIMER, Under a Light)
Top Row; Home sweet home, Ice angel, The inventor
Bottom Row; Suburbia, heart-shaped cookies, Castle on the hill

Left to Right, (NO FLASH or PRIMER, In Sunlight)
Top Row; Home sweet home, Ice angel, The inventor
Bottom Row; Suburbia, heart-shaped cookies, Castle on the hill

The Price: you’re paying $36 for 0.24oz, with 6 all new colors, and one doubles as Blush (Suburbia) and I would even use one for a Contour if your skin tone is dark enough (Castle on the Hill), I’m just saying why not, give it a go, if you can!?

Things I like:
·        6 new shadows
·        Pigmented
·        Blends
·        Suburbia, can be used like Blush
·        Castle on the Hill, can double as contour if you're on the darker skin ton
·        The packaging is fun
·        It’s Edward Scissorhands themed

Things I don’t like:
·         I liked all the colors… really, I just wished it had some darker/deeper shades
·         Some fall out, and some seemed chalky

Overall Rating:  4/5

Peace and Love <3
